The Parade of Homes Remodelers Showcase is presented by the professional remodeler members of the Builders Association of the Twin Cities (BATC).
The Remodelers Showcase has been held in the Twin Cities since 1984, and is a convenient way for homeowners to meet professional remodelers without obligation while seeing real remodeling projects.
The tour showcases 64 remodeled homes open Friday, September 29 through Sunday, October 1st from noon to 6:00 pm. A total of 52 professional remodeling firms are participating in the tour.
All the remodeled homes are free to tour with the exception of two Artisan Dream Remodeled Homes that request a $5 donation to the BATC Foundation. #R58, a mid-century modern whole house remodel by Crystal Kitchen Center (pictured above) and #62, a unique addition to a Wayzata cottage by Pillar Homes Partner.
A comprehensive Guidebook includes descriptive information, maps and photos of all the remodeling projects, and is available, free of charge, at area Holiday Stationstores, and in e-magazine form online at ParadeofHomes.org.
Guidebook editorial includes the real remodeling experiences of four families whose homes are on the tour, an article about aging in place remodeling, plus an event calendar, style trends and more.
Online tour planning can be found at the comprehensive website, www.ParadeofHomes.org. The integrated mobile site at m.ParadeofHomes.org includes all the homes and searches in an easy-to-read platform for smart phones and tablets.
Homes are located in 29 cities across the region, with the most located in Minneapolis (10) and St. Paul (6).
Projects range from kitchens (41) and bathrooms (23) to great/family rooms (23), additions (13) and basement remodels (10). There are exterior renovations, family rooms, bedrooms and offices plus 11 whole house remodels (five are teardowns) to offer something for everyone to see.
