Artisan Home Tour by Parade of Homes® FAQs

The Builders Association of the Twin Cities (BATC) ticketed, high-end home event, the Artisan Home Tour, will launch its fourth annual tour on June 9th. Open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays through June 25th, the tour features 19 new homes plus two high-end remodels open the final weekend.

Artisan Home Tour Supports BATC Foundation — Building Heart in Housing

Visitors to the Artisan Home Tour will help support the BATC Foundation, the charitable arm of the Builders Association of the Twin Cities (BATC). A portion of proceeds from each Artisan ticket sold will be donated to the Foundation to help continue their good work.

Technical Fix Removes Sprinklers from Twin Homes

Governor Mark Dayton signed bipartisan housing legislation Tuesday fixing technical language and removing the sprinkler mandate on twin homes. The legislation directs the Department of Labor and Industry (DLI) to modify Minnesota’s Building Code to match the national building code.

Hot Spring for Twin Cities Home Builders

Roseville, MN – After five years of relatively flat permit numbers, Twin Cities residential construction is pacing for a year of serious growth. Year to date permits are up 25 percent over 2016, and permitted units are up 62 percent over this time last year.
