Hot Spring for Twin Cities Home Builders

Roseville, MN – After five years of relatively flat permit numbers, Twin Cities residential construction is pacing for a year of serious growth. Year to date permits are up 25 percent over 2016, and permitted units are up 62 percent over this time last year.

Twin Cities Residential Construction Activity Stalls in August

While single-family construction continued to climb in August, it wasn’t enough to keep the five-month new residential construction hot streak alive. For the first time in five-months, permit numbers took a slight dip, down one percent when compared to this month last year.
